Boy, it's about time to update I think...
For Thanksgiving we went up to Utah to visit and luckily we'll be doing the same for Christmas too. It was great we played a ton of games, helped decorate the houses for Christmas and just overall enjoyed everyone's company. On Thanksgiving, we spent the day over at my totally awesome grandparents house with the whole Madsen clan. We finally got to meet baby Jack and he is just as chubby and cute as ever.
Randomness, lately I have been thinking a lot about my grandparents and how they are pretty much the coolest people ever. I really love them lots. and I miss them too, I wish I had taken advantage of visiting them more often when we lived in Provo. I love giving them hugs. I love going over to their house, there is a great feeling of love and memories when you enter through the back door. I love all the memories that are in that house. I loved the sleepovers and wearing my grandpa's t-shirts because we never brought our own pj's. I loved the cool piano that plays by itself, I love the sewing projects that my grandma takes on, especially the Christmas village that she made to put under her tree, I love that they tease me about the time I ate horehound candy, I loved eating the frozed twinkies and how they always have treats around, I loved their little spoon collection and eating pudding with them. Definetely some random memories, but nonetheless, very awesome ones... anyways, I just love them lots :)

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, my parents and I went up to the Body Worlds exhibit in SLC. This is the exhibit were they preserve human bodies through plastination and then show of the insides of the body and their remains. It was amazing to think that each of the pieces were once real people. The human body is amazing! I would definitely recommend this exhibit to anyone interested in how the human body functions. Casey didn't come with us, he decided that hunting would be way better and not as morbid as the exhibit. They also had these portable restrooms, they are called Royal Restrooms, they were sooo nice, they even had flowers inside. I have never been in such a nice portable restroom. These were two of my favorite exhibits. It was amazing to see the muscles and the bones and just everything
Saturday I went shopping with Casey's mom, Debbie. It was a ton of fun we were able to go to the stores that I don't have down in Vegas. I really miss Kirkland's and Downeast Outfitters. Then later that night we went to Barry's drive-in. MAN! I miss those yummy fries. Early Sunday morning we drove back to Nevada.
I have decorated for Christmas finally and I just love the way Christmas decorations have of making your home feel even cozier. One of our family traditions is to buy an ornament that somehow says or portrays the last year. I am way disappointed in Hallmarks ornaments this year, they just aren't as creative and cute as they usually are. So, we went with another place fore this years ornament. Since we got a little puppy we bought a bone with her name on it. All the other ornaments are from past years. Our 1st Christmas ornament is the globe ornament with our picture on it from 2005, our 2nd year ornament is the two monkeys because all we did that year was goof and monkey around, our 3rd year ornament is the two figurines, one being all dressed up and the other playing with toys...yep! and then of course this years, number 4 (WOW) is the bone for Daisy. And of course our 3 1/2 foot Christmas tree!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

I've been meaning to go to the bodies exhibit too, just haven't made it there yet. How do you know Missy Liston? She and Andy are in our ward and she's the primary chorister and she does such a good job. I just love her!
